Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made through caribbeanvillas.nl. By completing a booking, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

1. Reservations

  • All reservations are subject to availability and confirmation.
  • You must be at least 18 years of age to make a booking.
  • Your reservation is considered confirmed only after full payment is successfully received, and a confirmation email is sent to the email address you provided during booking.
  • It is your responsibility to provide accurate contact information when making a reservation.

2. Payments

  • Full payment is required at the time of booking, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • Payments are processed through our secure online payment system.
  • All prices are listed in euros (€) and include applicable taxes, unless stated otherwise.
  • Any additional charges incurred during your stay, such as extra services or damages, must be settled before departure.

3. Cancellations and Refunds

  • You may cancel your booking up to 30 days prior to the scheduled arrival date for a full refund.
  • Cancellations made within 30 days of the arrival date are non-refundable.
  • No-shows and early departures are non-refundable.
  • Refunds, when applicable, will be processed to the original payment method within 7 business days.

4. Modifications

  • Requests to modify your reservation, such as changing dates, are subject to availability and approval.
  • Additional charges may apply for modifications, depending on seasonal rates or availability.
  • Modifications requested less than 30 days before arrival are not guaranteed and may be treated as cancellations.

5. Check-in and Check-out

  • Check-in and check-out times will be specified in your confirmation email.
  • Early check-in or late check-out may be available upon request and may be subject to additional charges.

6. Guest Responsibilities

  • Guests must treat the property and its contents with care and respect.
  • Any damage, loss, or excessive cleaning required due to negligence or misconduct will be charged to the guest.
  • Guests are expected to comply with all local laws and regulations during their stay.
  • Unauthorized parties, events, or commercial use of the property are strictly prohibited.

7. Liability

  • caribbeanvillas.nl is not responsible for any accidents, injuries, illnesses, theft, or loss of personal belongings during your stay.
  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions, caribbeanvillas.nl reserves the right to cancel or modify bookings. Where possible, we will offer alternative dates or a credit for future stays.
  • Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking in question.

8. Force Majeure

  • We are not liable or responsible for any failure to perform or delay in performance caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, strikes, lockouts, civil disturbances, or interruptions in utilities or transportation.

9. Data Protection

  • Personal data provided during booking will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
  • Your information will be used only for purposes related to your booking and to comply with legal obligations.

10. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the Netherlands.
  • Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms and Conditions shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands.
